In Stanmore we have been raising money for Jewish charities for OVER 50 years.
This has become a well-liked and expected tradition, started long before the amalgamation of a number of charities and the formation of Jewish Care.
Once again, this year we have decided to run our own local appeal. This is NOT part of any other Pesach appeal and ALL the money raised goes direct to the chosen charities.
This year the funds raised will be 60% to Jewish Care and 40% to Hatzola, Edgware.
Pesach is a time when we all look to help our family, friends and the wider community in whatever way we can and therefore we are asking you to dig deep and give generously.

… Thank You.
This year Jewish Care is raising money for their vital services.
More members of the Jewish community are living longer than ever before, and needing more complex care. More of us will live with dementia at some point in our lives. Eight out of ten of the people they support live alone. This means as the need for their services grows and the gap between local government funding Jewish Care receives and the actual cost of care increases, Jewish Care will come to rely even more on communities like ours.
Your donation this Pesach will ensure that Jewish Care can continue to touch the lives of 10,000 people every week.
The other charity we are supporting this year is Hatzola, Edgware.
In 2015 Edgware launched the UK's fifth Hatzola Medical Emergency service. On a purely voluntary basis Hatzola's members save lives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with professionalism, dedication and compassion. They have undertaken extensive emergency medical training and are equipped with life-saving equipment.
Every moment that passes in a medical emergency could be the difference between life and death – Hatzola aims to have expertly trained responders on the scene in record time. They are a completely free service to the community. They receive no government funding and are funded entirely through private donations.
