Applications are now invited for the Anita Bloom z"l Annual Award 2017
On behalf of the Honorary Executive and in association with Rabbi Bloom and the Bloom family, we take this opportunity to advise the community of the launch of this year's award dedicated to the memory of Rebbetzen Anita Bloom z"l.
Given Rebbetzen Bloom's lifelong connection with education, this award is once again to be offered to a current 6th form student from within our community who wishes to take a gap year in Israel or pursue matters of Jewish interest.
The award will take the form of a contribution toward travel or book expenses. Please contact the Shul office for full details.
Applications are requested in the form of a covering letter plus a maximum of one side of A4 outlining the proposed educational plan and how the individual believes they will benefit.
Three hard copies should be handed in to the Shul Office by Thursday 27 April latest - marked "Confidential" - and "For the Attention of The Honorary Executive".
The submissions will be assessed by a group including Rabbi Bloom, an Elder and a member of the Honorary Executive.
The closing date is Thursday 27 April.
