On Shabbat 2nd April 2005, at the conclusion of the service, Stanmore members gave a presentation of their personal reflections on their recent pilgrimage to Auschwitz. Israel Awareness Committee on Thursday 26 January at 8.15pm will be hosting an evening with Solly Kaplinski, Director of the International Desk at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem. He will be providing an illustrated presentation on the new museum complex and talking about the work of Yad Vashem’s extensive and vibrant international research and educational centre. The meeting will also preview Yad Vashem’s forthcoming Guardian of the Memory campaign, a follow on to Tribe’s highly successful 60 Days for 60 Years project.
